Private Kitchen Season 2022

Based on our experience with the five magazines we’ve published in 2021, we decided to adjust the format of Private Kitchen. Starting in January 2022 we’ll publish interesting content every week. Content which will address the creative work of media composers in short videos shot at their working space, zoom interviews with media composers working on an international level, interviews with people and organisations related to media music such as sample library companies, film music orchestras and so on. We will launch a new category Music & Science which deals with new forms of music technology to be used in media music, we publish reviews of professional literature and columns by composers, about topics which are of interest for other media composers. And of course, we will keep you up to date with noteworthy news from within the Dutch music media industry whenever it crosses our paths.

The most important is however changing the online magazine into an online platform. A platform which is open for media composers and related news items such as a press release with some pictures about a film you just finished, a ‘making of’ about a studio recording, a short interview with a theatre director you’ve collaborated with, a short video impression of the final mix of a film with your music, etc.

Contact us through privatekitchen@mimm.nl if you think you have something interesting to publish on www.privatekitchen.nl. Remember: our monthly newsletter has up to 500 subscribers so your stuff will definitely reach an interesting audience!
