World Soundtrack Awards - Composition Contest 2023 and new Music Award Category!
If you're an aspiring composer, here's your chance to showcase your talent! Participate in the annual Composition Contest by Film Fest Gent and you just might be the next winner of the Sabam Award for Best Original Composition by a Young Composer worth €2,500. This year, the participants (screen composers under the age of 36) are asked to write a score for an excerpt from the video game Abzû, which lets gamers dive into the depths of the sea and explore enchanting ocean environments. Brussels Philharmonic will perform the music composed by the tree finalists at the World Soundtrack Awards Ceremony & Concert on Saturday 21 October.
