AI in Music - march 2023

Janne Spijkervet (TikTok) and Than van Nispen (HKU Music and Technology) discuss in a first of a series of zoom sessions the current developments in AI in Music. Subjects such as Music LM and ChatGPT, possibilities and dangers for composers, voice actor and sound designers are discussed. Related issues such as author rights, specific licenses for composers to protect their work, creating new Paul McCartney basslines are also discussed.

We will provide an update every few months as the developments in AI are currently moving at lightning speed.
