Three examples of Dennis Braunsdorf’s PhD self-study outcomes

Dennis Braunsdorf recorded himself and his main DAW screen during his composing sessions, using a webcam and the internal microphone. These recordings gave him the opportunity to look back at his own composition process. It provided him with a lot of insight, because they showed him he was doing 'things' of which he was completely unaware. His main question was how he could improve his composition process. Three of the outcomes of his PhD study are the creation of a better overview of his shortcuts with Stream Deck, visual insight into all his MIDI parameters, and automatically ending up with the best voicings and inversions of orchestral sounds, and easy modulation.
