The setup and workflow of composer and researcher Dennis Braunsdorf

Composer and researcher Dennis Braunsdorf explains in detail how his music studio is set up. In addition to the usual equipment, like a DAW and a master keyboard, Dennis describes how he uses a set of controllers to handle parameters such as shaping, equalizing, compression, volume, panning, lo/hi cut and MIDI cc-automation with motorized faders. Another controller provides him with visual information about Cubase shortcuts and articulation shortcuts. Dennis also programmed a Lemur patch on an iPad to handle voicings, chord progressions and modulations.
