Aisling Brouwer - Buccaneers

Aisling Brouwer provides the necessary insight into the creative process of composing the music for the Apple TV series The Buccaneers. A series that was made by a largely female crew. Music that she made together with her AVAWAVES colleague Anna Phoebe. A very complex project because there were also quite a few songs in the series. There was no library setup, specific music was made for each episode, so in fact music for 8 films. Of course there were themes that came back throughout the series. Aisling shows and plays the final scene from the series, a scene of 8 minutes that is a nice example of the coming together of the modern and more classical sound world. Also special is that the series does not contain diegetic music. Everything is score or songs. All in all a very interesting and insightful video!
