Jasna Veličković - Adapting

Jasna Veličković adjusts the ensemble's setting and introduces an unexpected new instrument in “Adapting”: charging adapters. When connected and amplified they produce a soft hum. The music puts the spotlight on the sounds of forgotten clutter and electronic gadget junk and prompts us to ask different questions: are we paying enough attention to what is happening to our physical world, our humanity, as our lives become simpler and more automated ? Do we commit or disengage? Does our technology adapt to us, or do we adapt to our technology? The composition is performed by Ensemble Resilience.
