Tessa Rose Jackson - Film & media composer
Tessa Rose Jackson is a film & media composer, visual artist, producer and vocalist. She has over 10 years of extensive experience working in commercials, film and TV. She has three feature-film scores / soundtracks under her belt (including the NFF's 2021 opening film "Mijn Vader Is Een Vliegtuig" and IFFR Tiger Selected "NINGDU" for which she and her partner Darius Timmer created all sound and foley). She also provided the music for dozens of international advertising campaigns such as Turkish Airlines (Superbowl 2019), Audio, IKEA and many more.
Besides her bespoke work, Jackson is an independent performing artist, releasing music and art under the name "Someone". She has currently released 4 EPs and 2 albums, gearing up for the release of album number three in early 2022. She performs live with a six-piece band, and will be touring the Netherlands in September (9th Alkmaar, 14th Nijmegen, 16th Amsterdam).
